Calcium Formate Calcium Diformate Feed Grade, Industrial Grade (CAS NO.544-17-2) could be utilized as acidity agent instead of lemon acid and fumaric acid, and as anti-corrodant and mildew preventive to substitute Calcium propionate. It is applicable to the feed stuffs for all kinds of animals, preventing diarrhea and helping digestion, especially to kid pigs. Also, Calcium formate is a good kind of growth regulator of crops.
Calcium formate is the white crystal or powder, it's nondeliquescent, can be dissolved in water, it can insoluble in alcohol, non-poisonous, PH is neutral, and can be resolved under 400ºC.

Application:
1,calcium formate can be used as a new type feeding addictive, adaptable for sorts of acidogenic mold inhibitor of feedstuff. It has the function of preventing diarrhea and dysentery and promoting digesting and absorbing.
2. As a new feed additive. Calcium formate weight gain, using calcium formate as a piglet feed additive, can promote piglets appetite and reduce the rate of diarrhea. Calcium formate is added to the feed in a neutral form. It promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract and reduces the effects of the disease in piglets. During the first few weeks after weaning, adding 1.5% calcium formate to the feed can increase the growth rate of piglets by more than 12% and increase feed conversion by 4%.Domestic and foreign market research shows that adding 1% to 1.5% calcium formate in piglet diets can significantly improve the performance of weaned piglets. The German study found that adding 1.3% calcium formate to the diet of weaned piglets can improve the feed conversion rate by 7% to 8%. Adding 0.9% can reduce the incidence of diarrhea in piglets.
